MTHFR gentic testing
Lab Order Provided.
MTHFR is a gene that codes for an enzyme called methyltetrahydrofolate reductase. The MTHFR enzyme helps your body to manufacture proteins and convert folic acid into folate. Mutations in the MTHFR gene are associated with mthylation disorders, thromboembolic and cardiovascular disease, which can lead to mental health issues, blood clots, strokes, embolisms, and heart attacks.
We offer testing from several licensed labs that offer either collection from a blood draw or oral swab.
